32 or 64 bit Windows
We get the call from our Time Clock System users all the time, they say I just got a new computer and need to migrate my data over. No problem, we offer both nationwide on site or remote support. Then we ask  "Is your new OS 32 or 64 bit?" To which they ask  "How do I Know?"
Since they are unsure I assume many others are as well, so here is how you know if your running 32 or 64 bit Windows Vista or Windows 7.
To identify your version of Windows before attempting to download or install any software, follow the steps below: 1. Click on your Windows Start Icon and go to Control Panel. 2. If you are using Windows Vista, make sure you are in Classic View. 3. In Control Panel, double-click on the System Icon. 4. In the System Properties window, the operating system information will appear in the System section.
There you have it.
